INVESTIGATION

Entre 2008 e 2009 percorre numa viagem de longa duração os territórios da Índia e do Nepal pesquisando a escultura em terracota votiva de grandes dimensões produzida nos locais investigados, assim como técnicas de conformação e de cozedura ancestrais utilizadas na produção utilitária.
Na Índia destaque para os estados de Tamil Nadu, West Bengal e Gujarat e no Nepal destaque para o vale circundante a Kathmandu.
Levantamento exaustivo em suporte fotográfico e vídeo.


Between 2008 and 2009 travels through the territories of India and Nepal in a long journey, researching the large votive terracotta sculpture, as well as ancestral conformation and firing techniques used in the earthenware utilitarian production.
In India mainly in the states of Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Gujarat, and in Nepal emphasis to the surrounding valley of Kathmandu.
